Question 1

What does Junk-A-Saurus take?

Accepted Answer

Junk-A-Saurus hauls furniture, mattresses, appliances, hot tubs, sheds, yard debris, construction and remodel debris, e-waste, and full garage, basement, home and estate cleanouts. If it's non-hazardous and in your way, we'll take it, you just point at the pile.

Question 2

How much does junk removal cost in Utah?

Accepted Answer

Junk removal is priced by how much space your items take up in our trailer, so you only pay for what we haul. You always get an upfront, no-obligation quote before any work starts, no hidden fees or surprises. Call or text 801-516-9569 for a fast estimate.

Question 3

Do you offer same-day junk removal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Junk-A-Saurus offers same-day and next-day junk removal across the Salt Lake and Utah valleys. Call or text 801-516-9569. Many jobs are picked up within a few hours of your call.

Question 4

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve the entire Salt Lake Valley and Utah Valley, including Draper, Sandy, South Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale, Midvale, Murray, West Jordan, Salt Lake City and West Valley City, plus Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Highland, Alpine, Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain.

Question 5

Do I have to lift or move anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Our crew does all the lifting, loading, hauling and cleanup. You don't touch a thing. Just show us what needs to go and we handle the rest, including sweeping up the space afterward.

Question 6

How does it work?

Accepted Answer

Three steps: (1) send a photo, call, or fill out the quick form; (2) we give you a fast, upfront price; (3) our crew shows up, loads everything, sweeps the space and hauls it away, often the same day.

Question 7

Do you remove appliances, hot tubs and pianos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We remove refrigerators, washers, dryers, water heaters and other appliances, plus hot tubs, sheds, playsets, pianos and other heavy, bulky items. We handle all the heavy lifting and the legal disposal for you.

Question 8

What can't you take?

Accepted Answer

For safety and legal reasons we can't take hazardous materials. Wet paint, oils, solvents, chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks or other flammables. Not sure about an item? Just call or text 801-516-9569 and we'll let you know in seconds.

Question 9

Do you recycle or donate items instead of just dumping everything?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Junk-A-Saurus donates anything still usable to local charities and sorts out metal, cardboard and e-waste for recycling whenever a facility accepts it. Only what's genuinely unusable goes to a proper disposal facility, so we keep as much as possible out of the landfill.

Question 10

Should I rent a dumpster or hire a junk removal service?

Accepted Answer

For most people, junk removal is the better choice: we do all the loading and haul everything the same day, so you never lift a thing. A dumpster rental makes you load it yourself and pay for the full rental period even if it sits half-empty.

Question 11

How much does it cost to remove a single item like a mattress or couch?

Accepted Answer

Because pricing is based on how much space your items take up in the trailer, a single item like a mattress or couch usually falls in our lowest pricing tier. Text a photo to 801-516-9569 and we'll send back a fast, exact quote.

Question 12

Do you offer free estimates?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every estimate is free and no-obligation. Send a photo or have us take a quick look on-site, and we give you an upfront price before any work starts. No hidden fees, and you decide whether to book after you see the number.
